Obama campaign offers visit to Chicago home

The latest raffle by President Obama's re-election campaign offers a trip to a place few people go.

Obama's house on the south side of Chicago.

On the president's birthday, no less.

A campaign e-mail asks donors, "want to celebrate President Obama's birthday with him -- at the Obamas' house in Chicago? Donate $3 or whatever you can to be automatically entered today."

Obama turns age 51 on Aug. 4.

The e-mail doesn't say whether there will be a big party at Obama's house on the big day, or whether the lucky contest winners will get a private celebration.

The solicitation also includes a picture of the president and first lady Michelle Obama. The e-mail tagline reads "warning: This picture is cute."

Obama himself hasn't gotten back much to the old homestead since moving into the White House in early 2009.
