Who is really running for president against Obama in 2012? According to the mainstream media there is only one man, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Although, if you watch social networking sites, Google Trends, citizen journalist news, and Meetup groups, there is another candidate: Father Liberty, Rep. Ron PaulRon Paul (R-Texas), who is set to take on our current president in Tampa.
To prove it, check out the above grassroots video, voluntarily written and directed by Jeremy Richter. Starting off with a Ron Paul quote, "The truth wins out in the end," it is a subtle look at the the diligent 12-term congressman and his passionate battle cry.
Richter restrains himself to make an entertaining and artistic piece in an effort to get the message out and show the consensus among those who work behind the scenes for Paul's candidacy. Liberty, peace, Austrian Economics, and the mainstream media's blatant blackout of the candidate (a k a President Paul) -- who, consequently, is still alive and well and in the race --are just a few of the topics covered in the fictional video making its presence known on Facebook, Twitter and the like, according to The Daily Paul and YouTube.
Some of the unique, unchanging plans of Dr. Paul -- do away with the IRS, end the Fed, no more income tax, stop foreign aid, secure our borders, fix health care (give people choices), and balance the budget-- are just a few of Paul's strategies to "Restore America." Remember, the indolent mainstream media is phasing out fast and furiously, so much so, CNN's ratings dropped significantly recently. Their misspeaking this past week on Obama's healthcare has made them the laughingstock of the Internet, as seen in this Huffington Post article 'Dewey Defeats Truman' Obama Photoshop Mocks CNN over Healthcare Decision Error.
Where are you going to get your news? What and who are you going to believe about the race for the White House? I think we should take the example of young people who have decided to do their own political homework before they make their decisions, as pointed out by citizen journalist Jeffrey Phelps in his Examiner article, Ron Paul winning delegates. I wonder what will happen to the mainstream media if Ron Paul wins in Tampa?
