Scripting a new chapter in his illustrious career, Pranab Mukherjee [ Images ] will on Wednesday take over as India's [ Images ] 13th President.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 11.30 am in the Central Hall of Parliament.
Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia will administer the oath of office in the presence of Vice-President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ], Lok Sabha Speaker [ Images ] Meira Kumar [ Images ], UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi [ Images ], Union ministers, governors, chief ministers and a host of dignitaries.
